Art Working out of Kahoa Aug 2011-Jan 2012

In the art room at Kahoa we are very busy learning about the world through art.

  K- is currently working on clay pinch pots, cartooning, and architectural studies.
1st- is working on vertical and horizontal lines, studying Mondrian the artist, and primary color review.
2nd- is working on painting and scumbling birch tree designs, landscapes, figure drawings.
3rd- is working on writing about our work and creating sculptures with clay.
4th- is working on writing about our work and origami, beginning fish illustration, and mandalas.
5th- is working on writing about our work, creating color wheels with 6 and 12 shapes to organize, studying mixes of color.
